At PPS, our people are hands-on!
While we have a large team of highly-experienced plumbers and gasfitters, the people who own the business, run the business. They are there every day supporting their teams, providing solutions and working with them, shoulder to shoulder in the field.
The four equity partners who came together to form PPS include some of the most respected, experienced and knowledgeable heads for plumbing and pipelines in Australia.
Importantly, though, unlike many companies where the senior people disappear to play golf after your first meeting, ours put their wealth of hands-on experience to use every single day, not only analysing problems, but resolving them in the field as well.
Industry veteran, pioneer and visionary, Kevin personally introduced jet-vac, hydro-jet and CCTV inspections to South Australia.
The incredible success of PPS may seem lightyears away from his humble beginnings as co-owner of the family business, Smith Brothers Plumbing.
But with that, he has never forgotten his roots.
Nor the fact that only hard work and an unwavering commitment to world’s best practice, are the only ways of guaranteeing success.
Brenton has gained an extraordinary amount of knowledge in a highly successful career spanning roles from an in-field technician to operations manager, across metropolitan and regional Australia. There is not a part of the commercial plumbing business Brenton doesn’t know inside-out.
So what does it include?
This includes Jet-vac, CCTV inspection, service location, storm water cleaning, surveying, relining, confined-space entry, hydro-excavation, and all aspects of sewer maintenance.
Being awarded Apprentice of the Year in 1993 heralded a successful career for Craig.
Then as he amassed skills and accreditation as a Master Plumber, Class-1 Gasfitter and Class-B Electrician, his rapid rise to the most senior levels of the industry was assured.
As the Service Manager at Smith Brothers Plumbing for several years, it wasn’t long before his diverse and obvious talents led to Craig becoming a director of PPS,
He is overseeing all plumbing operations for PPS.
Richard’s exceptional business management skills have been honed by decades of experience in the Equipment Hire industry.
His complementary talents have been instrumental in the success of PPS.
He has done this with the implementation of the latest, highly efficient procedural, new business development and account management practices.
Along with this is the up-to-the-minute, occupational health and safety systems.
Shared across all our key people is a level of experience in plumbing and pipelines that is truly unrivaled by any other company in Australia.
As individuals, we have worked on the Adelaide and greater South Australian sewer network for over 20 years.
With that we pioneering a number of technological advances in plumbing and pipelining for this state and gaining unique knowledge.
Together, as PPS, this has not only led to major cleaning, inspection and maintenance contacts for SA Water (in conjunction with Allwater).
This made us a prime choice for state governments, water boards, local government authorities and discerning private clients across the country.
What we do
No other company in South Australia offers a range of plumbing & pipeline solutions to match PPS.
Should you have a problem? We do the lot from an initial assessment through to viewing, reporting, cleaning, installing, repairing and replacement. Alternatively, we have total maintenance programs to avoid problems altogether.
Moreover, that goes for any part of your plumbing or drainage network, whether its for a single residence right up to a major sewer or water-trunk mains.
What also sets us apart, however, is the way we handle these problems.
PPS leads the industry with an unparalleled investment in state-of-the-art technology, including a number of trenchless solutions. These make many of the problems inherent in traditional fixes completely disappear.
All of which might lead you to assume our services are expensive. Perhaps surprisingly, that’s not so when you factor in all the heartache, waste of time, disruption, lack of income, destruction of infrastructure and ruined landscaping saved by our experience and technology.
Reassuringly, all our work is carried out to all governing standards and we’re on standby 24/7 to respond to essential-service emergency call-outs.
One call really can make any plumbing or pipeline problem disappear, to give unseen trouble-free service inside your walls or underground once more.
What we believe
PPS stands for Plumbing & Pipeline Solutions. But there is more to it than that. What we stand for, as a company, is represented by the eight core values that underpin everything we do.
We are totally loyal to our client base.
You can judge us by our actions.
What we say is what we mean and do.
We put our money where our mouth is to lessen the impact of our industry.
Nothing beats it at solving problems. Nothing.
We are here for you, 24/7.
Superior work requires superior tools.
We will never miss an opportunity to upgrade the greatest tool we possess: our people.
Environmental and WHS standards
When we say we make environmental problems disappear, we don’t just mean out of your sight and out of our minds. So basically, our environmental policy is second to none with a capital commitment to equipment that sets the standards for the industry.
What’s the result?
The result is a proud record of zero reportable environmental breaches with the EPA that we zealously maintain.
Likewise, with occupational health and safety, every employee holds all the relevant industry certificates.
This is to ensure their safety and yours, while our integrated management system meets the requirements for WHS to AS4801 and quality management to ISO9001-2000 standards.
