UV CURED PIPE RELINING

fast and efficient relining technology

Efficient and Non-Invasive Pipe Restoration

Advanced UV Curing Technology

UV light-cured relining represents a cutting-edge trenchless pipe repair method, involving the curing of a liner using ultraviolet (UV) light. Similar to CIPP, it offers a minimally invasive approach to rehabilitating pipelines without the need for extensive excavation.

Our UV light-cured relining process harnesses state-of-the-art UV curing technology to ensure precise and reliable results. By utilising cutting-edge UV light sources, we can achieve rapid and uniform curing of the liner material, guaranteeing a seamless and durable pipeline rehabilitation solution.

ideal applications

UV-cured relining is ideally suited for a wide range of pipe shapes, whether horizontal or vertical. This includes Box Culverts, Circular and Oviform sewers, stormwater drains, potable water mains and suitable for gravity and pressure applications. Moreover, it proves invaluable for sewer manholes and pump station chambers, as well as sites with constrained working windows like airports and shopping centres and schools.

uv cured process

In UV light-cured relining, a liner crafted from materials such as fiberglass or polyester is carefully inserted into the damaged pipeline. Once in position, UV light is employed to cure the liner, seamlessly bonding it to the interior of the existing pipe. This process effectively creates a brand-new pipeline within the existing infrastructure.

This innovative method boasts several advantages over traditional pipe rehabilitation techniques. It stands out for its speed and efficiency, with curing times as rapid as 1 metre every 2 minutes. Additionally, the liner material exhibits remarkable resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and other forms of damage, significantly extending the lifespan of the pipeline.

technology

UV-cured CIPP liners distinguish themselves from other CIPP lining systems due to their unique composition. These liners are impregnated with a resin that sets exclusively under ultraviolet light. Unlike our hot water-cured CIPP liners, which are prepared in our lining factory in Marleston SA, UV-cured liners are prepped by the manufacturer to meet engineering standards and delivered to us with the resin impregnated in the liner. With a long shelf life, UV-cured liners remain durable, provided they are shielded from UV light exposure.

the benefits

Foremost, UV-cured CIPP lining excels in speed, with curing times as swift as 1 metre every 2 minutes. Furthermore, it offers high-strength reinforcement without compromising the diameter of the host pipe. This ensures the maintenance of optimal flow capacity, with super-smooth liners even enhancing flow capacity, especially in concrete or deformed pipes.
